WT Announces Passing Of Dr. Paul Engler

West Texas A&M University announced Friday the passing of Dr. Paul Engler. He was 94.

Engler and his wife Virginia have been supporters of numerous area organizations, and well-known philanthropists.

The Engler’s support of WT can be seen and felt campus-wide, from the Paul Engler College of Agriculture and Natural Sciences, and the Paul and Virginia Engler College of Business.

In its release Friday, the school noted how Dr. Engler’s life and career not only transformed the state of Texas, and the world, Paul and Virginia’s foundation set a remarkable example for others who now look at WT in a new light with the $1 million yearly donations over nearly 80 years.
